The LivingRoom Community Art Center is a vibrant hub for artistic expression and community engagement. Founded on the belief that art has the power to transform lives and unite communities, we provide a welcoming safe space where people of all ages and backgrounds can explore their creativity, develop their skills, and connect with others through the arts.
Our Mission: is to make art accessible to everyone, regardless of their socio-economic status or background. We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals can be creative, build confidence, and find a sense of belonging.
Events
Open Studio Sessions
Open studio is open daily Individuals can drop in and work on projects. Our studio is equipped with various art supplies and tools to accommodate different mediums and styles. You are welcome to bring your own supplies too.
Art Classes and Workshops
We organize a variety of art classes and workshops led by experienced artists and instructors. From painting, drawing, pottery, craft projects, soap making and more. There's something for everyone to explore and learn. Please check our calendar for dates and times.
Community Events
We host regular community events such as art exhibitions, open mic nights, and collaborative projects. These events provide opportunities for artists to showcase their work, connect with others, and celebrate the power of art in our community.
Poetry/Writing
Through workshops, readings, and collaborative projects, we celebrate the power of words to ignite imaginations, evoke emotions, and spark meaningful conversations and connections. Finding inspiration in each other's stories, in our nurturing environment, poets and writers of all backgrounds and skill levels are welcomed, encouraged, and empowered to share their voices.

Outreach Programs
We believe in the transformative power of art and are committed to reaching underserved populations. Through our outreach programs, we partner with schools, community centers, and social service organizations to bring art experiences to those who may not have access otherwise. We also use art for fundraising events to support needs in the community such as food security and mental health.
